Morocco is a country that could be explored for years, but if you’re like me and don’t have that kind of time here are the top 5 spots/adventures I think will make your trip worth wild.
Marrakesh - Stay in a Riad/ Explore the Markets
Though these Riads can get a bit pricey, if you have the budget I would say it is worth splurging on. I’m a sucker for ambiance and decor, specifically Moroccan design, so this was absolute heaven to be surrounded by it every direction my eyes landed. I love it so much that I hope to build my house one day inspired by this architecture & style.🙊
These are the three Riads we were able to stay at in Marrakesh. Each one I highly recommend and admired for different reasons.
Riads we stayed at:
These Riads are in the heart of Marrakesh making exploration in the Madena effortless.
Markets:
2. Sahara Desert - Spend 3-5 Days disconnected in the desert learning the ways of nomads
This adventure has been one of my absolute favorite to date. Disconnecting from social media/society for a few days is so needed and refreshing for the soul.
3. Essaouria - Ride Arabian horses along Moroccos coast line & watch sunsets from a rooftop in the city
Essaouira is similar to the streets of Marrakesh but in our experience had much fewer people. You still had the Moroccan market feel but less hectic. This city is special because it hugs the Atlantic sea. We saddled up on Arabian horses and explored its coast line right before sunset. Was a moment in which I had to pinch myself to believe was real.
4. Chefchaouen - Get lost in the streets of the famous blue city tucked away in the Moroccan Alps.
5. Casablanca/Fez - These are two spots in Morocco that were highly recommended but due to time we were unable to explore. If you have a good amount of time to spend in this country, these two spots would be great to check out!:)
Morocco was one of my most cherished adventures and one I would highly recommend. If you find yourself traveling to this beautiful North African Country let me know!
